Gut Microbiome Profiling Kit

Instructions:

Stool Sample Collection

1. Get your sample collecting brush and sample vial with microbiome lysis buffer ready
2. Put on disposable gloves
3. Put enough toilet paper (6-10 pieces) into the toilet for a good support
4. Have bowel movement 
5. Remove the brush cap carefully and be careful not to contaminate the sterile sample brush 
6. Collect stool sample in three different locations *
7. Open the sample vial and stir 20 times to release stool sample into the lysis 
8. Close the sample vial properly and save the vial in the sample bag with blotting paper 
9. Discard the used brush and gloves 

* Make sure the stools collected are not in contact with the toilet water

   Alternatively you can collect the stool sample from the used toilet paper
